It is a secure digital vault designed to help you organize what you own and exactly where to find it.
It's not about calculating your net worth; it’s about getting a clear view of your life (from checking accounts and insurance policies to physical items and liabilities). It’s a great way to get organized and increase transparency in your household today. Plus, when the time comes, this master list will make your executor's job way easier.
Your inventory is entirely private, and you only share it with your loved ones or executor at your own discretion.
Accessing the tool takes just a few steps:

Note: Estate Inventory will only display in your menu after a plan has been selected.
Estate Inventory is available to residents across most of Canada once a Premium plan is selected. However, please note that due to distinct provincial legal frameworks, this feature is currently not available to users located in Quebec.
Not at all! Many people use the Estate Inventory as a first step before they are ready to create a legally binding will. By organizing your assets now, you are already doing your family a huge favor, and it will make writing your will much faster when you are ready.
Absolutely. Willful uses industry-standard encryption to keep your data safe. Furthermore, Estate Inventory is designed for high-level organization, not highly sensitive data storage. We just need to record where things are (e.g., "Scotiabank Checking Account" or "SunLife Insurance Policy"), not your actual passwords.
