Official Rules and Regulations for the Willful Fund Your Future Sweepstakes

The Willful Fund Your Future Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") is sponsored by Willful, located at PO Box 129, Wellington, ON K0K 3L0, Canada.

Eligibility

This Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of Canada, excluding residents of Quebec, who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence prior to entry. Employees, officers, directors, agents, and representatives of the Sponsor, and their immediate family members and household members, are not eligible to participate. Entrants who have an active paid will purchase with Willful as of 11:59 PM (ET) on August 18, 2026, are not eligible to participate.

Sweepstakes Period

The sweepstakes period begins at 12:00 AM (ET) on August 19, 2026, and ends at 11:59 PM (PT) on August 31, 2026. The Sponsor reserves the right to extend or modify the sweepstakes period at its sole discretion. Any changes will be updated and announced on the official contest website and via email.

How to Enter

There are three ways to enter. Entrants may use more than one method, and entries from every method are combined into a single pool for the random drawing.

  1. Automatic Entry with Purchase: any eligible person who purchases a Willful plan during the Sweepstakes Period will automatically receive twenty (20) entries.
  2. Newsletter Entry: any eligible person who signs up for the Willful newsletter during the Sweepstakes Period will receive five (5) entries. No purchase necessary.
  3. Essay Entry: to enter without making a purchase, entrants may submit a short essay, approximately 100 words, answering the prompt "What would $5,000 mean for your future?" at https://willfulwills.typeform.com/to/TR9rSsiT. This method earns one (1) entry. No purchase necessary. Essay entries are placed into the same random drawing as all other entries and are never judged for content, quality, or merit.

Limit one entry per method, per person, regardless of how many times a method is completed. Entries from multiple email addresses or accounts for the same person will be void.

Prize

One (1) winner will receive a cash prize of $5,000 CAD (the "Prize"), paid by cheque or e-transfer. The Prize is unrestricted: the winner may use it however they choose, for example toward an RESP contribution, an RRSP contribution, or anything else, and the Sponsor makes no guarantee or condition tied to any specific use. Approximate value: $5,000 CAD. No substitution of the Prize is permitted, except at the Sponsor's sole discretion, for a prize of equal or greater value. The winner will be required to provide a valid mailing address or e-transfer email address, located within Canada, at the time of notification.

Winner Selection and Notification

A random drawing will be conducted on or about Wednesday, September 2, 2026, from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. All eligible entries, regardless of method of entry, will have an equal chance of winning. The potential winner will be notified by email or phone call from Willful. The potential winner must correctly answer a time-limited, skill-based question without mechanical or other assistance to be declared the winner. Failure to submit an answer will result in disqualification, and an alternate winner will be selected. The potential winner has until 11:59 PM (ET) on September 8, 2026, to submit the answer to the skill-based question. The winner will be publicly announced within forty-five (45) days of the contest closing on August 31, 2026.

Publicity

By accepting the Prize, the winner consents to the Sponsor's use of their name and city or province of residence, without further compensation, to announce them as the winner across Willful's marketing channels, including social media and email, except where prohibited by law.

General Conditions

All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or violates these Official Rules. The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify the Sweepstakes if any fraud, technical failure, or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion. If the Sweepstakes is terminated early, the Sponsor reserves the right to award the Prize in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received as of the termination date. The Sponsor is not responsible for any technical problems, failures, or malfunctions of any kind, including any issues with the internet or website.

This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta, Instagram, TikTok, or Google.

Limitation of Liability

By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, its subsidiaries, affiliates, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of any prize.

Privacy

Any personal information collected during the entry process will be used in accordance with the Sponsor's privacy policy, available at https://www.willful.co/privacy-policy.

Governing Law

The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.

Disputes

Except where prohibited, entrants agree that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in Ontario.
